[What I've Done - Dubstep]

it wasn't bad

it wasn't bad to me. my only critisim is that it was way too much like linkin park at the start were as the dubstep on the 2nd half of the song was more unique but since the track is not long to begin with it works well as sort of a intro r interlude that often comes with remixes of other songs. I write this review in regards too your version of linkin parks song and odds r someone will flag this and your song could be removed like one of mine did. I still like this as a interlude but not as a full song.

more of a loop than a song

this is more of a loop than a song r at least it works better as a loop. The continues sound got on my nerves after 15 seconds. I wont write too much like the previous person, will only say you need to explore alot of verious dubstep songs and find wich sounds best to you and try match that and push further with whatever samples you can create r find. practice makes perfect.

[Kirby Super Star Game Select 2]

needs kirby in it

cant say i played kirby to know what kind of tunes he goes by but it did have a kirby sounding theme too it. my only suggestion would be to use his voice rather than the other you chose and cut it up too the beat placeing the samples throughout the track in places this will not only stop it from being continues but give it more of a edge too the overall sound.

its ok i guess

its ok i guess. it works as a dubstep song, not all of them need to be heavy hard hiting and this works well as the soft side of it but for me there wasnt enough veration too the song to make it stand out.

very nice

i found it to be very nice as a intro into a song r as you put a loop. breaking it up and puting it too a beat is by choice and i would say it would work well either way if the need was there to go ferther with the track. I do hope thou that you actualy chose the sounds rather than leting fl do most the work for you if you used fl that is. leting a program create the song with random sounds you have selected and calling it yours is kind of bad, cant say i havn't thought about doing it my self but they often come across as random generated easy to make. Anyway i am rambeling on. well done.

Well, depends who is thinking about "own" sounds. If person tells to me that "You used WASP XT, it's actually fl's tool so every sound in this track is basically fl's own sounds" Well that person is kinda right but If person think about that I set up every effects in that specific instrument so it's sounds will be correct.. well .. I think it's actually something around 75% my sound and 25% fl's, and every instrument has their own set ups etc and then i put all in action.
But yeah, your review tells me that I deserve 8 from your opinions :)

i hope you dont plan on selling the album esp since i doubt linkin park would allow you to take there lyrics and put them too your music. Even still you would have to be carefull with what your doing, you know how these bands get when they beleive there music is being stolen, lawsuitlawsuitlawsuit. the music matches the music but i much prefer linkins parks version so if they were a 10 for that track on a scale i would put yours ways below at about 4 but since i am feeling kind i will give you a 5.

althou i liked the start and the background ambient sound you had it kind of fell apart for me past halfway with more being addad. To me a loop is a continues sample of a sound being done over and over again with very little being addad but your song had more than just a few with some changes within in so it works as a song more than a loop. I liked the start and some of the sounds but overall it didn't work for me.

well done

well done guys, this has a great sound too it despite the screechy vocals that i went off after listening to cradle of filth but then later found joy in with landmine spring, unfortantly they split up and i never found another screetchy vocal i could like again. Writeing lyrics for a song as well as singing too them is not easy so my hats off too you. the only thing i would say too this is maybe the vocals overshadows the music.

over done

the dubstep to me is slightly over done but it does have a rawness too it. I would of cut the dubstep too the drum and base breaking it up and useing the gaps for the keys but in order for that too work you would have to reduce the distortion else it would become quite hard to hear.

funky forest elf

you should call it funky forest elf. the forest spirit comes across as a ambient sounding track with that name but anyway. the dubstep is good but the rest lacks something for me to keep my interest through out. I keep hearing this soundcloud, think i need to join it me thinks. keep up the work.
